Announcement made of Mission Boundary Change
On June 23, 2016 the North America North East Area Presidency released the announcement of mission boundary changes that would significantly impact our mission. On July 1, 2016 the Annapolis Stake, and all missionaries serving in the Annapolis zone will be moved into the boundaries of the Washington D.C. North Mission. In turn, on July 1st the Lancaster Pennsylvania and Chambersburg Pennsylvania Stakes, and all missionaries serving in those zones will be joining the Maryland Baltimore Mission.
While we know without any doubt that this is the Lord's work and His hand is in the very details, it is still with very heavy hearts that we watch our dear fellow servants laboring in the Annapolis Stake reassigned to a new mission. They are the most amazing individuals and fabulous missionaries and will be so greatly missed. Along with our 28 young missionaries who will move to the Washington D.C. mission, there are also 4 senior couples. The fifth couple, the Moores serving in Brooklyn Park,
complete their wonderful service the day before the mission change.
